One of the most controversial subjects in modern sports is the use of performance enhancing drugs or “cheating”. From sign stealing in baseball and football, encouraging home crowd noise, competitive advantage is an acceptable part of the game. PED use is different, it alters your body chemistry to make good players great, and great players immortal. Cheating aside, are we looking at the history and application of steroid use all wrong?
